Descendents of David Sample

About Our Family Research

I knew virtually nothing about the history of my family until I began my journey over one year ago. With the expectation of the birth of my first grand child, I felt the urgency to explore the
origin of our family and its rich history. I truely felt the loss of not knowing my family history as I was growing up, and
certainly did not want future generations to suffer the same loss. Also, the members of my family possess outstanding qualities and beliefs that I knew had been passed down through generations and I wanted to know more about those people.I've
come into contact with many "distant cousins" via the internet
and its been a wonderful experience. I have been given photos
of a home in Germany that was the family home for almost two
hundred years! Something I would not have dreamed still existed,
without the efforts of someone I have never met! It's my hope that my efforts will make the journey easier for other family members searching their ancestory path!
