I have been trying to expand my family tree for awhile now. The Sweaney family comes Idaho, and most of them now reside in Colorado. The Pierces are from my grandfather's mother's side.. I haven't quite got enough information from the Sweaney side to expand the 5th generation, yet.. I am also doing research on my mother's side of the family, with surnames Means, Berry, Barefoot, and Holt. They come from the eastern side of the continent, such as Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, and Georgia.. The Barefoots are directly from the Cherokee Indian tribe in the Southern United States..
