| About Our Family Research |
|
We started our family genealogy when our daughter Michelle, was in the fourth grade as her history projedt. My history now includes more than 36 surnames, some family lines reach back 17 generations. Most of my research takes places with in 100 miles of our home. Two of our families, The Pond's and Swyers', we have Pioneer papers issued by Wyoming County Historical Society. The Robert Van Etten Family were among the first to settle the town of Van Etten, New York. Our Family story has all the elements of a good romance novel, love, marriage, divorce, family feuds, family mysteries and secrets. We have worked very hard to share our family tree with you We also hope you find it interesting and helpful. Our Family feels the sky is the limit. So just pick a branch and enjoy. This genealogy is an ongoing project, last updated 2005.
