I have traced my family tree back to Nicholas Syred Born 1760 Rendham Suffolk,married Elizabeth ---- and had two sons and two daughters,one of the sons John who is my direct line moved to Portsea, Hants.He carried out a business as a Seedsman,He only had one son Henry John Syred,which makes me believe he died early in life.John syred married Elizabeth Hayward 1806.Henry John owned a poulterers shop in Portsmouth,he married Elizabeth Medder,they had five children,one of the sons Horatio born 1834 is my direct line.The family moved to Liverpool in 1841.Horatio married Margaret Gracie,they had seven children,and owned a Pawnbrokers business,my direct line was Henry Robert Syred born 1872 Prescott Lancs.he married Mary Emily Welch 1895.they had seven children,my direct line is my father Cyrus John Syred born Liverpool 1898 died 1977,he was a Hotel Proprietor and married May Sheldon born 1896,they had four children,which brings the tree to me John Syred born 8-5-1932.married Barbara Maxwell Hooley,we have two children Craig & Lisa.I was engaged as a Mech.Designer and was also in the Antique Trade.If this tree rings any bells I would love to hear from you.
