I have worked on a large number of ancestral lines, and my current emphasis is the family of Jacobus Jansen Hoagland, who died in Frederick County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in 1759.

• The Last Will & Testament of Barent Newkirk (8 KB)
  Barent Newkirk was a neighbor of Jacobus Jansen Hoagland, and two of his daughters married sons of Jacobus Jansen Hoagland. The Last Will and Testament of Barent Newkirk is dated February 18, 1764, and I have transcribed a copy of the original for the benefit of fellow genealogists. A scanned copy of the original is available upon request.
• The Descendants of Jacobus Jansen Hoagland (449 KB)
  This is a listing of the known descendants of Jacobus Jansen Hoagland through the fifth generation. I originally posted this file several years ago, but many additions and corrections have been made. I would appreciate any further additions and corrections that fellow genealogists would be willing to share.
