My father is Polish and came to south africa after WW2. His family where kicked out of there own home, his father never to be seen again and 3 brothers and sisters died leaving just himself, mother, sister and brother. Shipped off to Rhodesia where they all remained except my father who left and came to SA and met my mother Louise Packer. My family remaines only of my father, Stanislaw. My mother, Louise. Sister, Dianne. Uncle, Gordon Packer. Aunt, Teresa( dads sister)and two cousins who are Teresa daughters. my search involves trying to find distant polish relatives.
