I know our history here in the island, but i want to know of our family history all the way back to Japan.
The family history goes back to Hyogo Perfecture in Japan to a town named Miyauchi that is where my grand parent are from.
My grand parent arrived in Honolulu in the late 1800, he was an employee for the sugar company at Ewa Plaantation. My farther Harry Masaichi Takanobu was born there in 1903.He married my mother Kiyoko Horike in the 1930`s. They had a Son Harry Atsuo born September 9, 1935 & Daughter Janet Setsuko born July 7, 1937.
