My great, great, greatgrandfather John Tapp lived in Barachois, Gaspe, Quebec from about 1790-1875.

My search started out as an effort to find my ggrandparents but soon turned into a one name search of Quebec Tapp's as I encountered many brick walls.

The area covered is primarily the Gaspe area of Quebec in the early years, then Ottawa and other points within and outside Quebec.

This page will hopefully help others searching the same family and I would welcome sharing information on any of the names you find here.
