My Grandmother Madeline Rapue Tapparo Jones recently passed away, and I learned a lot of interesting facts about my family that I am trying to research. We are told that through my Grandmother, we are related to Baronet Vasquez, the interpreter for Zebulon Pike in 1806-1807. I only need to connect Julia Wiscombe (b. ~1835) to Julia Vasquez, and show somehow that she is the daughter of Pike Vasquez (mountain man and fur trader in Denver), who is Baronet's son.

I have also been told that Madeline's father Tom Rapue was a professional boxer 100 years ago.

My Grandfather John (Giovanni) Tapparo immigrated from Italy in 1922 with his family. They were ranchers in Colorado.
