It is our hope to provide / gather information about the Tegg - Crafton Families. Our Tegg side of the family was decended from Wales in England. A "teg" is a young sheep before the first sheering. There were several shepherd families which took on the "teg" name because of their occupation. Often these people could not spell and would allow the person taking the information to decide the spelling. There is one person in Virginia with three different spellings of his name.
