I am just getting started on researching the family history on my mother and father's sides. My mother's maiden name is Grill and she was born near Denison, Iowa. My father's last name is Moore and he was born in western Iowa as well. I have a great-great grandfather, Joseph Moore, who was born in Indiana and served in the Civil War. I'm hoping to learn more about both sides of my family.
