We are currently planning mother Nellie Johnsons 103rd Birthday celebration.Reserched her Hughes(maiden name)back toHenry Freeman Hughes,B.1723 in Wales,Richard Tuttle,B.june 15,1530 in England.Just found our family connection to John and Priscilla Alden.Attended the Pigg-Vaugh Reunion at Blanche Mo.in June this year and met many great cousins.
We now are working on more information on the Thaxton family.
Our searches have taken us to Kentucky,Iowa,Missouri and of course,here allover Illinois with some degree of success.Much more is needed.
