Hi, my name is Diana. My grandparents are Denton and Betty Jean (Pierce) Talley of Stewart, MS. Leroy and Mary Alice (Hardin) Turner of Kosciusko, MS. My great grandparents are John Wesley and Dovie Bell (Nail)Talley of Webster and Attala Co., MS. Willie Lee and Cleo (Knight) Hardin of Stewart, MS. James Harlis and Clyde (Champion) Pierce of Mathiston, MS. I'm having a hard time locating information on Willie Lee's family. His father was James (Jim)A. Harden (b.10-23-1863, d. Jan 1940. He was an only child. He married Mandy Holmes first(they had 2 children) and then Eva Comora Sweatt (they had 1 child, Willie Lee) They lived in Stewart, MS. His grandfather was James Henry Oliver K. Polk Hardin (died around 1863-1865 in SC, maybe). I believe his wife's name was Amanda. I believe he may be buried in SC. I believe he fought in the Civil War. Also I'm trying to locate info on his other grandfather. Robertson Sweatt (b. around 1827 in SC) he married Fanny Holland (b.2-29-1828). They lived in Attala County, MS. They had 9 children: Julia, Charles, Cornelia Alice, Ellen B, Ida F., WIlliam R., Eva Comora, and Mary B. I would appreciate any information you have on these people. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone related to any of these family members. Thanks in advance.
