Nikos Theodosiou was born in Athens in September 1946.
He studied cinema in Athens (in the High (!) School of Cinema) and after the upcoming of the Dictatorship in 1967, he continued in Paris. There he watched the seminars of Zean Rouche on documentary, Henri Langlois' on the history of cinema, and Mark Fero on Cinema and society). He remained in Paris until 1974. Back in Greece he dealt with syndicalism, journalism, photography, radio, literature, historical research and at the same time with the cinema (as director).
Up to the end 2003 he had published 11 books.
The historical research is focused in old cinemas and the town of Peristeri. He is a founding member of Cinematographic Club of Peristeri and was member of administration of Cultural Centre of Municipality of Peristeri.
He is a founding member of Neaniko Plano (Team of authors for the audiovisual expression of new persons) and person in charge for the educational programs. He is member of the three-member committee and special adviser at the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People
