My Uncle and I have been researching our surname (Thunelius) since 1998. We believe my Great Grand Father Carl B. Thunelius came from either Norway or Sweden and settled in St. John New Brunswick Canada around 1902. There he met my Great Grand Mother Margaret Martin,married and had a son by the name of Alfred E. Thunelius on April 29, 1903. We have been trying to find out what happened to Carl B. Thunelius because there is no other documention on him. A few years back while looking through the Sweden directory I came across a family with the same surname as ours and is spelled the same way (Thunelius). I would appreciate any and all feed back.
