My name is Donna Lynn Thurmond Hamilton. I've just started researching my family tree on my father's side.

My father's name is John Brantley Thurmond, his father's name was Mitchell Brantley Thurmond, his father was William Reuben Thurmond....that's all the facts that I have that I know are true.

I have other names but have yet to actually research. William Reuben's father was John B. Thurmond, his father was William Monroe Thurmond Jr., his father was William Monroe Thurmond Sr., his father was James Thurmond, his father was Phillip Thurmond Jr. and his father was Phillip Thurmond Sr. (1700 in VA).

I am going to start leg work research in January. I hope you can help some. I'll share what I have with you.
