Tanfield Lanchester while the Lock from Prescot Lancashire. THURLOW parents THURLOW/WEDDLE I have now found that my m-i-l grandparents on the Lock side were Alfred & Rachel, who came from Widnes in Lancashire to Gateshead when mum's father, Herbert Charles Lock was a boy.
