My father's name is Wendell E. Thurman, his father's name is Maynard and mother is Dorothy. Before Maynard and Dorothy married, she was originally a Thurman as well so her name did not change after marriage.
My mother's name is Kathleen M. James, her mother's name is Sylvia James, she married Jesse James. Before marrying though she was a Madewell and gave birth to my mother by a Simmons.
I also know that my grandmothers (both) and grandfathers were born in Tennessee. My father and mother were both born in TN also.
