Searching for the parents and other ancestors of Homer and Lee Burton Tinsley. Oscar Tinsley (Montgomery WV). Homer T. had sons: Richard, William and Raymond and a daughter, Frances?.They may have been related to Henry Cole Tinsley, either WV or KY. The story is that five Tinsley brothers came to the USA and scattered through the Virginias, Carolinas and Kentucky. They were farmers, educators and "physicians?" I do not believe that these Tinsleys were descendents of Thomas Tinsley of Hanover Virginia. Someone by the name of Linni? Tinsley seems to be lurking in the background. My grandfather, Lee Burton Tinsley, was born somewhere in 1875 and died in Huntington WV in 1929. I will be pleased to hear of any news you have and will share what I have. |
