Still researching the Tinsley Family from the Fleming Co., Kentucky area. (?>KY>IL>) Would like to find the parents of Samuel P. Tinsley, b. March 16, 1819 in Pendleton Co.,Kentucky. He married Sarah Vannattan in Fleming Co., KY on April 30,1854. Sarah was born June June 2, 1830 in Fleming Co.,KY.
Since I am stuck on the Tinsley side, I will be collecting information about the Vannattan or Van Etten family. This family has many spellings of the Dutch name meaning from Etten, Holland. (Eaton, Van Eaton, Van Etten, Vannattan) Is there a connection between Van Eatons and Van Ettens?
