Father- Miguel de Jesus Tineo (his father Rodolfo Gomez, Mom was Petronila Tineo, had a total of about 7 brothers and sisters)Was in military (Aviation) in the Dominican Republic, born around 1924. Has been deceased since 1968, brother living is Eliseo who lives in Santiago de los Caballeros y Dominican Republic.
Grandfather was Spaniard, died a couple of months after my father. Aunt still living (half sister)is Antonia Gomez in Santo Domingo is about 84 years old or so.
Mother - Teresa M. James Bias de Tineo (Mother:Rosabell Bias James, grandmother: Alfonsin Bias James - had 6 girls and 1 boy, she was from St. Kitt (white with grey eyes), husband was Mr. James)
Mother's father's name: Mr. Featherence (not quite sure of spelling) (white from another carribean island). Was Violinist, left SantoDonmingo before my mother was born.
Brothers & Sister - Victor, Nancy living in the USA since 1971
Aunt - Leonida Gertridis Edwards, has 2 children (joselito & Ingrid). She is half sister to my mother
Tineo originates from Spain. There is a city or town called Tineo in Asturias Spain. I went to the library in Lugo to do research on the Name Tineo and I was able to find some kind of myth of the origin or a some tale about a king who fell in love with a slave and protected her (something like that). I copied the article, but have misplaced it. Once I find it I will keep you inform.
Oh yes; there are a lot of Tineo in the dominican Republic, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Spain of course, etc.

I found out that Bias originated from Scotland and I wasn't quite sure of the real spelling of my Mother's father's name because he was english and to write his last name in spanish when you don't know english is hard so as always it is misspelled.
