Emidio Tirabassi was born February 25 in Sulmona Italy. He came to the U.S with his brother at the age of 16. He returned to Italy after a time, joined the arm, got married, had a child, and moved back to the U.S. setteling in Niagra Falls. In 1917, he and his family moved to Henrietta New York, a suburb or Rochester. Emidio was married to Anna Pettrilli, who died of complications of childbirth in 1927. There are two surviving sons, still i the Rochester area. Until 1997 the family operated a farm and Country Store. The farm and business have since been sold.
