The Pauline Touney-Kinnersley of North Platte, NE Updated November 9, 2000
About Our Family Research
I am trying to do some computer research about the Touney Family. My father's name was Frederic Gilbert Touney, he was born at Lakeview, Iowa, May 26, 1916. He had an identical twin brother named Edward James. They are both deceased now and I am trying to find out if there are relatives somewhere along the line. I know that his father left when the boys were 14-years-old and never looked back, it was during the depression and had spent some time in the mental institution because his wife was cohersed into signing him there. It was either that or be charged with threatening to shoot the banker and sheriff. My father never talked much about his family. His mother was Estelle Mae Large of Sac City, Iowa. My father's grandpa had two wives and one of they was a Quinn from around Lakeview, IA. There was a half brother by the name of Paul, whom I am named after, who was in the cinema business and at one time lived in Chicago. This is about all I know of any lost relatives and would like to know more.
