My Oldest Tucker Ancestor begins with Andrew Tucker. He was married to Ann E. Trickey, daughter of Sarah. Ann died in 1868. No death record recorded. Only her marker. Andrew Tucker was born about 1825 in Ohio. At this time, his parents have not been proven. Ann had a sister named Nancy that married Columbus Tucker in Athens Ohio on March 10, 1853. I have not been able to locate a marriage record for Ann and Andrew. They may have married in Licking County, Ohio but the records have been destroyed. After the death of Ann, I haven't found that Andrew remarried. He has been found in Stafford County, Kansas in 1887, a widow, and is selling his Athens County, Ohio land to a Jeremiah Bean. This man had a son Whitfield. I've been told that Whit and Andrew's son Nathan ( my g-grandpa ) were cousins and they were close. Andrews dau. Martha married Joseph Hull and were in Mulberry, Crawford, Kansas til they died in 1936 and 1940.
