There is so much to say!! I am the middle daughter of Harold Clinton Byrd and Annabelle Bumgardner-Byrd. I was born Oct. 7, 1955, in Blackwell General Hospital along with my twin brother. My name is Mary Kay Byrd and his name is Larry Ray Byrd. My father Harold was born Jan. 24, 1916 in Barnsdall, Ok. to John Harrison Byrd and Eva Lena Richterberg-Byrd. My mother was born March 1, 1929 at Braman, Ok. to Austin Ott Bumgardner and Myrtle Courtney-Bumgardner. His father along with hundreds of other settlers were in the Oklahoma land run and settled around Braman, Ok. The homestead still stands but is almost in ruins. It has hand carved wood throughout that my great grand father did himself. I have just got to get a piece of that wood for my family to cherish. Anyway, I have just scratched the surface.
