I am researching my Italian ancestors of Paolo Tucci and Rosa Marino and also researching the surnames Galli, Di Federico, Forchione and Sticca. I have had some very good success writing letters of request to the Ufficio Anagrafe at Tocco da Casauria and the Ufficio dello Stato Civile of the Province of Pescara. It is a tedious process that involves translating text to Italian and then waiting for six to eight weeks for a response.
