About Our Family Research

Quincy Drummond was the father of Jared Drummond. Quincy was born Jan. 1, 1750 in New York, NY. His wife is unknown. His parents are unknown. Quincy fought at age 15 in the Revolutionary War & in the War of 1812. According to family history, Quincy's parents came from Scotland. Quincy later founded a town in Canada named Drummond. I need documentation on who Quincy's parents were and who his wife was. Quincy and _____ had one son, Jared, who was born Mar. 17, 1797 in Jefferson County, NY. He married Philura Austin in 1817. Their son was Calvin Morris Drummond born March 23, 1822 in Watertown, NY. He died Feb. 20, 1904 in Maumee Ohio. He married Olive Elmira Cadwell Dec. 25, 1853 in Sylvania, Ohio, daughter of Alfred Cadwell & Alla Chubb. The son of Calvin Morris & Olive Elmira was Willis Cadwell Drummond, my grandfather, born Jan. 21, 1857 in Huntington, Indiana, died Jan. 5, 1934 in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Willis married Olive Clara Wheeler daughter of Hinton Wheeler and Harriett Selden. They had 10 children, one of which was my father Wesley Carlton Drummond who married Dora Elizabeth Blankenbeckler. They had one child, me, Mary Louise Drummond. I married Gary Albert Tudor and we have two daughters, Tamara Lynn Tudor Craigwell Creaney, and Michelle Denise Tudor Chapman.
Any information as to Scottish ancestry of Quincy Drummond and who his parents and wife were, will be greatly appreciated. I have spent many hours at the Mormon Genealogical Library in Salt Lake City,UT, the Mormon Library in Lake Havasu City, AZ and research on the internet.
