James and Thomas Tuhan (Tughan)arrive in Melbourne Australia around 1850-60 from Northern Ireland. Their parents names were James and Margaret Tughan formerly Macadam from Derryhennet County Armagh. They had five children James, Thomas, John, Gilbert and Elizabeth, I also believe that their father James married twice, the second time to Margaret Lawson, then had another four children Nancy, Sarah, Ellen Jane and William James. I believe that the family name may have been incorrectly spelt as Cughan or Keoghan accordiing to the 1830 title applotment book for Derrynoose, it has two entries in Derryhennet for Cughan, James and William. Which is possibly an interpretation error.
