The Shackelford Quarterly, published since 1993, covers any and all SHACKEL/LEFORDs worldwide. The Quarterly has published various county census, death, cemetery, military, marriage, and court records pertaining to the SHACKEL/LEFORD surname, as well as the International Genealogical Index and Social Security Death Index. The Quarterly is published 4 times per year (Jan-Apr-Jul-Oct) and the subscription rate is $18 per year. The Oct issue contains year end name/place index. Back issues are available for $5.00. There is a place index available for the Quarterly for $2.00 plus SASE. The Quarterly is a "continuation" of the Shackelford Newsletter (1983-1992-place index also available for $2.00 plus SASE; back issues $2.00). Queries are free to paid subscribers, and pedigree charts are encouraged so records of interest to subscribers can be published.
