James Tullis (b. 25 April 1785)

James Tullis (son of John Tullis and Isabel Cragie) was born 25 April 1785 in Sturton (Stirton?). He married Mary Anderson.

Not much doubt about James and Mary Anderson. They're ours.

James Tullis, my great great great grandfather. Mary my great great great grandmother.

Really know snitch all about James apart from the fact? that he was a carpenter. A rough idea of when he and his wife, Mary Anderson were born.

James b.April 25 1785 baptised 1st May1785 Birth cert on file.

Mary abt 1890.

Also can only find one son although instinct tells me there should be more.

Son James b 1818. Went on to join the Merchant Service and became a ships master/captain. Beverley checking on Naval Records.
