The Turner Tribe is planning a reunion for June19-22, 2003. This web page is for all interested parties to know about us, and our efforts to locate any ancestor in our family lineage. We have traced our heritage back to Guilford, CT. In 1686 John Turner married Johanna Benton in Guilford, CT. They had a son John who stayed in Guilford, but his children started moving to Middletown, CT and other places. From There they moved to Veterans, NY, Solon,NY, and then onto Elmira. My grandfather was Samuel Gilbert Hathaway Turner. He was born in 1878 in Elmira and died in Montour Falls, NY in 1953. He married Lucy Helen Maude MacCaul in 1907 in Appleton,WI and they lived in Elmira and Montour Falls their whole life. My father, Alexander MacCaul Turner was one of four children. This website is about this Turner Clan.
