I am looking for decendents of Barney C. Guynes, Born:1832 in Miss and Died: approx. 1864 in the Civil War. He was a son of James Guynes and Martha Whittington. He married Catherine Lang, Born: 1836, in Miss.(Mrg.date appx.1853) Catherine Lang died after 1910 in Texas. They had six children. 1.Elizabeth M.Born: 1855, Married: William Lewis Baldwin. 2. Martha Ann Born: 1857, Married: P.H. Underwood. 3. James F. Born: 1858, (rest unknown). 4. Thomas William Born: 1859, Died: 1946, Married: 1st Matilda Garner, 2nd Annie Lee Bell. 5. John, Born: 1862, Married: Susie?, 6. Norvell, Born: 1864 (rest unknown). The family migrated from Miss. to Texas by the 1880's and lived in Eastern Texas. Looking also for Ancesters of ANNEI LEE BELL. (Father ? HOUSTON BELL) and for Ancesters of FRANCES IRENE WHITE. Neither parent known. All of these families lived in the Eastern part of Texas in the early 1900's and began migration to other parts of Texas after the 1920's
