Thanks to many friends and relatives, namely one Peter Kaake of Cabri, Saskatchewan, we have successfully placed our family back to the late 1700's. However, the name, being a Danish spelling of 'cake' and, being fairly certain that we originated in England, probably Dorset, we have reached an impasse. There are just too many of them. How do I sort out the various immigrants to the new world into my ancestors? Any help in breaking this block would be greatly appreciated.
