The Ulibarri and Moreno Family Reunion Contact Page Updated February 27, 2001
About Our Family Research
The Ulibarri/Moreno families will meet on June 23, 2001 to hold its family reunion. It will be held at Mormon Lake Lodge, southwest of Flagstaff, Arizona. For more information, contact Evelyn Ramirez as the contact person.
The Ulibarri family was originally from New Mexico Territory. The Moreno family had a land grant from the Spanish government and their ranch was known as "Los Morenos". I know there is a coat of arms from the Spanish side of the Ulibarri family. Some Ulibarri surnames are "Juan", "Filomeno", and "Sabino"; this names appears in several generations. The Moreno name has surnames such as "Marco", "Manuel", and "Pedro"; and it also appears in several generation.
I believe there was a Moreno who served as a Union scott during the Civil War because there was a person who received a pension from the government at the beginning of the 20th century.
