The Ulmers of South Carolina

About Our Family Research


Trying to find common root ancestors with the name Ulmer for people here in the southeast. The name is not uncommon, and many of them trace at least one branch of their family back to the southeastern U.S.

In addition, there are ties to families in the german communities of Pennsylvania an Ohio. So far, I have traced the branch of the family tree I am in back to pre civil war on my fathers (Ulmer - SC) side, but only back to about 1920 on my mothers (Endlers - Penn) side.
