The Ulsaker's came to Minnesota and North Dakota from near Tronheim, Norway. Our grandfather homesteaded in Richland County near Kindred across from Gol Church. The Bowman/Montgomery side of the family came from England with lineage to France. It is my understanding that the Ulsaker's are planning a family reunion in North Dakota at Lawrence (Larry) Ulsaker in 2000. The Bowman's have a yearly family reunion the first weekend in August each year. It is held in Stanley, Virginia.
Cindy (Good) has done an excellent job with the Bowman/Montgomery side of the family. I have, thanks to my sister, Lara, some pretty good info on the Ulsaker's. I would like to share, clarify, update with anyone who has a need or interest. June Ulsaker has also done a super job and shared.
I have used the Personal Ancestral File of the Church of the Latter Day Sanits and sent the info I have to them.
