When I first got the briliant idea to research my family I really had no idea what I was in for. The hours spent infront of a computer looking for some little clue, a name, a birthdate, anything that might be a match. I had very little information to start with, just a few names (some of them a guess),a few aproximate dates, and the family theries of the origination of some family lines. It was really surprising to find out how little we knew about our own family, and where we imigrated to the U.S. from. Well with over 1000 ancestors found, I think it is safe to say that if you want to learn about this large family this is a good place to go. Some family lines have been easier to document then others. Not all family lines could be like the Mace family well documented by other researchers (Sara Kidd), as well as the founding Mace's them selves. With that said there are still gaps in my research, mainly the Darnell and Gleason lines. With time and perseverance I hope that will change. This is a fasinating family, filled with some pretty interesting people. I hope you enjoy learning about where we came from, and the people who have contributed to making this family so great...and so large.
