Wiktorek or Viktorek of Poland Updated April 29, 2001
About Our Family Research
The only place I can start is I know my Great Grandfather was Adam Wiktorek or Viktorek as I have been told there is no W in the polish alphabet. I believe he was born in 1888, somewhere in Poland. He married Mary Lipka, and lived in Binghamton NY after they arrived from Poland. In later years he brought over three brothers, Walter, Constantine, and John from Poland all living in Binghamton and all worked in The Eagle soda bottling company. They were parishoners of St. Cyril Church and later St. Stanislaw Church in Binghamton. Mary and Adam had 6 children, Adam Jr, died at age two; Stanley, died 1994; Cecilia, died in 1957; William, died in the 1970's; and Jean still living and residing in Virginia. Should anyone read this and have futher information that would be helpful to my family and I please contact me at my e-mail address or my home address by mail.
