Riopell name changed to Upell. I guess the family came from Canada-Quebec ( and France) and supposedly ansetors are Chief Sitting Bull from when he fled the Dakotas and went into Manatoba and the Riopells that the the street by the same name in Detroit MI. and the famed artist Jean Paul RIopell....
