I am new to this and just started on our family research. Which means, in less than 900 words, that presently I am rather frustrated because I am not sure which way I'm going. As a result my desk, if you can find it, is literally covered with notes, print outs of the many things that I read and think might be useful, as well as the Family Tree Maker 7.0 manual.
I am sure that there will be plenty of family news once the engine kicks in and time in spent more productively. Part of the problem, though I'm sure that will add to the interest of our family tree, is that we come from all over the world. Name the country and more likely than not we have, or had, a relative there. On the other hand that also adds to the frustrations because I am sure research would be more productive if most relatives had been more sedentary.
