From Italy, Gaetano Vacca came to the United States in the 1920's to make a better life for his Family. After working hard at many jobs,he finally found a steady job at the Walbash Gas Co.
in Philadelphia where he serviced Gas street lights. He bought
a Home in North Philadelphia and sent for his Family in Italy.
Consiglia, and her Four Children,Angelo,antonetta,Carmela and Julia, arrived at Elis Island in January 1930. Consiglia gave Birth Three more times in America. Anthony, Nov.1930. Gaetano,
