Vambré, or Vambrée, van Brée, van Bree, van Bre
My ancestor is Joannes Henricus van Bree, he was born in 1738 in Nijmegen (The Netherlands), son of Hendrick and Gertrudis Schijn. He married Maria Catherina Florie ( or Flory) in 1774 in Landrecies (North of France) where he was as a soldier in a swiss regiment called "Grison de Salis". He died in 1783 in Marennes (Charente, France) where his regiment moved. His son Joseph was born here in Marennes the same year 1783. Joseph and his mother moved to Tours (center of France) where Joseph Vambrée married Magdelaine Jeanne Madrelle in 1809.
Nota: It seems that Joannes Henricus van Brée was married before that with Helena Putthod (or Putte) and two sons were born: Petrus Bernardus in 1769, and Jacobus in 1772, both in Breda (The Nederlands).
Nota: The father of Joannes Henricus van Bree could be the one born in 1696 (feb 16) in Nijmegen, Hendricus van Bree, son of Hendricus and Christiane Wilhems. But we need the proof.
