Researching the lines on my mother and father. Mom's family is Rahe-Sanders living in Nebraska at the time my grandparents passed and my dad's family is Carter-Kershaw. I have a lot of info on the Kershaw and Rahe families but not much on the other two. The last Carter I have is Ozro Carter born 21 May 1870 in Illinois and married to Mary Leah Wallace. The last I have on the Sanders is my grandfather born 11 Apr.1895 in Hall, Nebraska and died 1 Feb 1973 in Napa, California. I have his father and mother's name but no other info on them,their names are Fred Sanders and Ella Murphy.
My Rahe line goes back to Christian Friedrich Rahe born 5 Sep 1819 in Germany,married to Anne Marie Catherine Vornheider[?} born in 1817. My Kershaw line goes back to John Kershaw born in 1828 in England and married to Harriet Sharpe. We have a Kershaw reunion every year in Silver Creek, Nebraska on Memorial weekend.
