Bruces fathers family settled in Hatfield and Northhampton, MA. They immigrated here from Lipno, (Silesea) Prussia in the late 1800's. They farmed in Lipno going back to at least the early 1800's. They departed from the port of Antworp or Bremanhart.
Bruces mothers family settled in Holyoke, MA, CT, and NY. They are beileved to have immigrated from Canada, Ireland, and France.
