VAN WAGENEN, VAN WAGONER, VAN WAGNER, VAN WAGNEN: The Holland Dutch families of New Netherlands, Ulster and Dutchess Counties in New York beginning ca1837-1850 through the present.
Book One, "THE GENEALOGY OF JACOB AERTSEN VAN WAGENEN OF WAGENINGEN, HOLLAND published in 1994 and containing fourteen generations of Van Wagenen, Van Wagoner, and Van Wagner families on 440 acid free pages within hardbound book, including complete first name and spouse name indexes. These are the Hudson-Valley families who inhabited Ulster County who used the spelling of VAN WAGENEN; and the many families who inhabited Dutchess County and many of whom adopted the spelling of VAN WAGNER.
Book Two, "THE GENEALOGY OF GERRIT AERTSEN VAN WAGENEN OF WAGENINGEN, HOLLAND" presently being prepared for publication as early as 2002. This book refers to the twin-brother of Jacob Aertsen Van Wagenen who is the subject of Book One. Gerrit and his suceeding generations resided on the Kipsbergen Patent at Rhinecliff in the Town of Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, NY. Many of his descendants removed to the State of Michigan where they changed the spelling of their name to VAN WAGONER and VAN WAGNER.
