The Vance family have lived mostly in Kentucky near Maxon Mill and Paducah. It goes back to Elmer Vance, who was hanged for murder. He and most of his family lived in Logan County, Va. Have been trying to find more about my mothers side of the family, but have found very little about the Perry family from Iowa. My grandmother's name was Minnie Hellweg from Spokane, Washington, and lived in Madison, Illinois until her death.
