I'm trying to locate members of my father's side who resided in Iowa. I have pictures of family but few names.I know my grandparents and some of my grandfather's brothers located to Washington and Oregon,while the rest of his very large family remained in Iowa. I also know Wright is a popular name, particularly in Iowa, and that's precisely why I need help.

I was in Portland for the holidays in 2004 and found several boxes of family photos, mostly from the Bardsley side that I would like to identify and share. I also have other things (both Wright and Bardsley) that may be of interest, such as a list of military members of the family Gillett and Bardsley, letters and postcards from other family members, and wonderful family photos--most of which need identifying. I am of the line of Robert George Wright of which no information has been published.

My father died in 1999 and the remainder of my family resides in Portland. My mother lives in Lake Oswego. I have 6 brothers and sisters, 5 boys and one girl. CA.


I am interested in hearing from any Bardsley or Wright relative who would like copies of photos/letters or whatever I have,share info, or who would just like to say "hi."

  I believe this is the entire Wright Clan originating in Iowa. While there are names on the back of this photo, the order is incorrect: Fred, Bob, Jesse, Lina, Tim, Frank, Ada, Grandma, Grandpa, Alex, Guy, Harry and Lucy.
