I am new to Genealogy.com, and only have information dating to my grandparents. I am the eldest daughter of Donald Lee Vanek, Sr., who married my mother Charlotte on April 21, 1956. My father was born in Glendale, West Virginia, September 13, 1931, to Louis and Kathrine Vanek. He grew up in Powhatton Point, Ohio and had 2 brothers (Louis, Jr. and Joseph) and a sister (Barbara). He moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1957. I have information regarding Katherine (Tolzda) Vanek, but nothing on Louis, Sr. or the Vanek family name/line.
