MY research was more of a by-product of joining the FIRST FAMILIES OF TENNESSEE project of The East Tennessee Historical Society. I always knew my Father's family was from Tennessee, but I never knew it was so well documented. I was surprised there was anything at all. I have met several cousins over the internet that I never knew I had. My interest in my Ancestry has turned to the historical aspects. I am interested in finding gravesites, military records, etc.
