Ever Since I had my son August, I have had an interest in finding out about my family history. Others have documented the Villnow Side and Kaddatz side of the family, My interest is in my grandmothers side, which I know of almost nothing about. And an Interest of finding out about my father (which I never knew) When I finally decided to get in contact with him after knowing his name for years, I found out he had already died. He never knew he had a grandson or a daughter that needed him terribly, while growing up. I was born in Duluth, MN and Raised in brainerd, MN. At the time of my birth there was a stigma regarding unwed mothers and those were sent to homes for unwed mothers. Mine was one of them. I Always knew what my fathers name was but was told never to contact him cause he had another family and I would only be a bother. I abided by that rule my whole life till health problems made me realise that I had to get incontact with them for family information. Now I wish I had known him. From what I know at the moment he served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War and died from Cancer due to Agent Orange. If ANYONE has information regarding Albert Anderson of the Dorris community in Aitkin Mn. I would appreciate an email at deanna@nocharge.zzn.com. Thanks
